Vetting
Crystal Cleaning Services operates stringent vetting procedures when employing new personnel. We work closely with and regularly seek advice where necessary from The Border Agency operating to their strict guidelines. Our management and supervisory team's regularly receive guidance on how to identify authentic ID and travel documentation, a problem widespread in our industry.
In January 2012 we invited the Border Agency to our offices to audit our immigration vetting systems and provide expert training. They were satisfied that our procedures were ‘in line with current Home Office guidelines' and provided detailed training to check the veracity of the documentation provided.
Following a formal interview all new personnel are required to complete a Crystal Cleaning Services employment application pack. This is validated with original travel and Identification documents, including National Insurance Numbers, proving entitlement to reside and work in the UK, as well as proof of their home address.
Initially verified by our Operations Management, photocopies of all documentation are taken and then counter signed by the verifying manager. Once completed the application pack is then passed to our head office HR team who will then carry out a final check using the PRADO website (The Council of the European Union Public Register of Authentic Identity and Travel Documents Online) of all provided documentation.
Annual visa and photograph checks for all staff are maintained to ensure compliance on an on going basis.
